Mr Andrew Hare – Business and Financial Advisor

Andrew is managing partner of Hales Douglass, a full service tax and accounting business on the South Coast of NSW, which specialises in business and financial advice. Andrew has over 30 years’ experience in the accounting industry, training with national firm Hall Chadwick before joining Hales Douglass in 1994, and becoming a partner in the firm in 1996 at age 26. Andrew is dual qualified in Audit & Taxation, (Chartered Accountant, Tax Agent and Registered Company Auditor) holds a Bachelor of Business degree and is a member of the Tax Institute.

Andrew places the highest priority on maintaining a reputation for integrity and professionalism and the appreciation of his clients’ needs goes beyond just the numbers.

With technical excellence and extensive experience in financial and whole of business strategies, in his role as business advisor, Andrew has guided several clients with technological innovations to move from the idea phase to full commercialisation.

Instrumental in growing Hales Douglass from a team of 7 in 1994 to a team of 25 in two locations today, Andrew has also successfully developed the firm’s own start-up businesses in financial planning and recently mortgage broking.

Andrew’s complementary experience and skills include financial and business troubleshooting, taxation strategies, company audits, forensic accounting & litigation, project frameworks and strategies, practical IT knowledge with networks and remote office management, implementing small business technology efficiencies, regional development initiatives, change management and implementation including risk analysis, financial and human resources management, and stakeholder relationship management.
