JOHN BATISTE

John commenced his career in banking in 1976 and over three decades has obtained extensive experience in property finance and development management during his tenure in various senior positions at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Westpac AGC, Bank SA and QIDC.

John oversaw the commencement of operations in New South Wales for QIDC, which later became Suncorp Metway. In his role as Head of Property John was responsible for Suncorp becoming a market leader with significant annualised portfolio growth.

Subsequent to Suncorp John managed the mezzanine and equity lending books of Sakkara Group which is one of South East Asia's leading property development firms. More recently John has consulted to a major development company overseeing the completion of a number of substantial developments in Victoria and Queensland.

John continues to utilise his skills by consulting to a number of developers and banks facilitating funding and the successful completion of projects.
