Ms Linda Crossan, Director – Venue Management & Consular Liaison

Linda is and has been a Committee Member of the esteemed influential Sydney Consular Women’s Club for the last 5 years. Linda has served as Secretary for several years.

Members include Consul Generals, Consuls and the wives of these office holders where appropriate. Linda plays an important role in addressing the constant rotation of these people into and out of Australia every 3 to 5 years providing a meet and greet function and maintaining contact after their departure constantly building an ever increasing network of highly placed and influential contacts both within Australia and internationally.

With these duties, Linda has an excellent insight to the cultural needs of Consuls and their partners range of duties and social responsibilities.

Linda will provide the initial management of the Sydney Head Office Venue. After a very successful 10-year career in sales culminating as Australian Sales Consultant of the year with a major International Company, Linda entered the exhibition business 20 years ago.

She brings considerable experience in establishing and managing exhibition venues in NSW and Queensland, sometimes concurrently, and including:

    • Old Mineral House at 2 Edward Street, Brisbane
    • The Port Office Building, 39 Edward Street, Brisbane
    • 55 George Street, The Rocks, Sydney
    • Nurses Walk, The Rocks, Sydney
    • 49 Moncur Street, Woollahra, Sydney
    • 149 Sussex Street, Sydney
    • 40 Burns Bay Road, Lane Cove

Her expertise includes every aspect including logistics, publicity, staffing and exhibition. Initially, Linda will be responsible for identification of key Venue operational personnel for ITEC.

Linda will continue to provide liaison with the Sydney Consular Women’s Club and their partners to empower ITEC’s successful and beneficial engagement with them.
